Digital Media Leader Tapped To Strategically Integrate Audience-First Approach to Harness Data in Media Planning & Buying

NEW YORK, NY — Media Storm, the award-winning media strategy, planning and buying agency, today announced that Julie Berger has joined as the agency’s first Executive Director, Audience Networks. In this newly created role, Berger will focus on the clients’ campaign integrations across the digital and addressable media ecosystem. Berger will help drive holistic solutions leveraging a data-centric, target segmentation approach, creating solutions that expand the agency’s remit from media ROI, delivering true business ROI. In that capacity, the position will oversee the management of the agency’s digital ecosystem which includes Media Storm’s influencer marketing, biddable media, and programmatic capabilities, particularly as they expand into other channels. Berger will lead these initiatives and operations across the US from the Los Angeles office, reporting to Steve Piluso, Media Storm’s Executive Director, Head of Media & Integration.

Berger joins Media Storm from Initiative Media, an Interpublic Group agency, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Media Investment. During her five-year tenure at the firm, she was responsible for over $500M of media investments across all consumer touch-points in TV, digital, print, audio, and out-of-home. Berger was responsible for the go-to-market strategy for several major blue chip companies, such as Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Uber Technologies, Air New Zealand, Spin Master, and Lifelock, among others. Prior to that, she led the digital practice for Horizon Media Group’s West Coast office as their Vice President Managing Director of Digital where she oversaw 16 major accounts and increased digital billing by 200 percent.
